Saudi Scouts once again stepped up to support millions of pilgrims performing Hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Over 4000 Scouts from across the Kingdom volunteered this year, assisting with the advance preparatory phases by undertaking field surveys and working hard to make and update Hajj maps. Then, during the Hajj season, the Scouts, many of whom speak many languages, are key to guiding the pilgrims between the sacred sites and redirecting those who are lost, in particular assisting older pilgrims who find it hard to keep up with their groups or are unfamiliar with the mapping technologies in use. They also support additional logistics and health services.
