Mr Fredrik Gottlieb

Life Member

Fredrik Gottlieb (Sweden) holds a Masters in Economic Sciences obtained at the University of Stockholm in 1974.

Since that year, Fredrick has held leading positions at several Swedish-based companies, including Trygg-Hansa, Sparbankernas Bank, and Skandia Insurance. In 1994, he joined Erik Penser Fondkommission as CEO, a position he left in 2004. 

That same year, he was nominated as Chairman of the Board of Garantum Fondkommission in Sweden a position he still holds today.

Became a member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 2001, and joined the WSF Board in 2001 and became a Board Life Member in 2026 after serving actively for 25 years.

Fredrik has been involved in Scouting for many years.

In 2023, Fredrik was awarded the Bronze Wolf, the highest honour bestowed by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, which recognises the outstanding service, commitment, and contributions of volunteers to the Scout Movement. In the tradition of the award, Fredrik was presented with his Bronze Wolf by previous awardees, namely HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, WSF Honorary Chairman and Wayne Perry, WSF Board Member, during the 75th World BP Fellowship Event, in October 2023. Fellow Board Members and representatives of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), World Scout Committee Chairperson Andy Chapman and WOSM Secretary General, Ahmad Alhendawi, also joined the presentation.
