The 2019 Regal Circle Dinner took place in Paris on 23 November 2019 in the presence of Their Majesties King Carl Gustaf XVI and Queen Silvia of Sweden and generously hosted by Siegfried Weiser and Yasmine Bensultana at the exquisite offices of La Biosthétique, overlooking the Arc de Triomphe.

The elegant dinner provided a wonderful opportunity for His Majesty, WSF Honorary Chairman and Hector Robledo Cervantes, WSF Chairman to officially welcome and recognise new Regal Circle Members, James Pooley and Laura-Jean Anderson, and thank them for their ongoing support to Scouting.

Hans and Doris Imholz were then recognised for their considerable support over a great number of years to Scouting, in particular to the flagship Ticket To Life project, and welcomed to the Baden-Powell Circle.

Siegfried and Yasmine were also welcomed to the Baden-Powell Circle and recognised for their significant and unwavering support over the years. A member of the Board since 2008 and former Chairman of the Board, Siegfried has been a longstanding champion of Scouting and in particular the Messengers of Peace Initiative.

Rabbi Peter Hyman, speaking at the event, thanked everyone for their visionary leadership and told the story of two people at an art exhibition who find themselves in front of a blank canvas: The first says, “I can’t see anything”, the second says “I can, and I bet you wish you could!” He underlined his admiration for all of the passionate supporters of Scouting at the Regal Circle Dinner, saying that each is like that second person: a visionary leader.
