78th BP Fellowship Event Pre-Registration Information
We are thrilled to hear there is a great deal of interest in the 78th BP Fellowship Event, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, 7–10 May 2026 and have worked hard to consider how to best manage the registration to enable the greatest participation of our network of dedicated BP Fellows for the available places.
We ask that you read through the following information well in advance of registration. We strongly suggest you also familiarise yourself with the details of the Full Event Programme or Young BP Fellows Programme, plus additional (optional) programme activities, as outlined in the Event Information Pack, so that you know which options you would like to select once registration opens.
When will registration open?
Registration will open in three phases, as follows:
- Regal Circle Members, Board & Committee Members: Tuesday 25 November, 12:00 CET
- Honours Programme Members: Tuesday 2 December, 12:00 CET
- BP Fellows & Young BP Fellows: Tuesday 9 December, 12:00 CET
As noted, each registration phase will open at 12:00 or noon Central European Time (CET).
We are expecting high interest during each phase. As such, and to ensure that no one group absorbs all the places, there is an allocation of places for each registration phase as well as a limit to the number of accompanying guests — please read on!
How long will we have to register?
You can register until the following scheduled closing dates and times, as indicated for the different phases in bold below, or until registration sells out.
- Regal Circle Members, Board & Committee Members: 25–Sunday 30 November at 23:00 CET
- Honours Programme Members: 2–Sunday 7 December at 23:00 CET
- BP Fellows & Young BP Fellows: 9–Sunday 14 December at 23:00 CET
On the scheduled closing dates, registration will close at 23:00 (11pm) Central European Time (CET).
Don't delay!
We anticipate places will fill quickly and encourage all BP Fellows, including those in the Honours Programme, to register as soon as the system opens.
For information, we have scheduled the registration go-lives for the three registration groups with a day in between each phase to allow us to manage any technical challenges that may arise.
Who will receive the registration information?
The official registration email containing the link to the registration system will be sent one day before registration opens to the primary household contact. Please see below for more information on the primary household contact and how to clarify who this is if you are not sure.
As for previous events, we will send the registration email and personalised registration link to the primary household contact to ensure our system can correctly identify and link registrations, avoiding duplicates.
We will send this a day ahead of registration opening to enable households to prepare and check that their primary household contact has received the link.
When registration goes live, as per the schedule indicated above, primary household contacts will be able to register themselves and up to two other accompanying persons. (There are additional details on accompanying persons below).
Please do not share the email containing the registration link, as it is a personalised link!
Young BP Fellows (over 18): Please refer to the specific information for Young BP Fellows (over 18 years old) below, and note that you will each receive your invitation to the Young BP Fellows Programme directly.
Who is my primary household contact?
A primary household contact is either a single BP Fellow (or Honours Programme Member) registered without anyone else in their family as a BP Fellow at that address. Or, in the case of couples and families (partners/spouses and those with children living at the same address who are all BP Fellows/Honours Programme Members) it is the senior or the first registered BP Fellow.
In general, children (over the age of 18 years of age) no longer living at the same address are their own primary household contact.
If you would like to check who this person is in your household, please contact us: [email protected] or +41 22 705 10 90
How many accompanying persons can I register?
Each BP Fellow primary household contact can register themselves plus up to two (2) accompanying persons directly, subject to availability, on the Full Event Programme. This means a maximum of three (3) people per registration.
Important: You will need the following information for your accompanying persons to register them when registration goes live: Salutation, first name, last name, a unique email address (this cannot be the household contact’s email!), mobile number, registration country, name as it should appear on the name badge, and any dietary requirements.
We have significantly reduced the information requested to facilitate your registration process, and you may need to return at a later date to complete the additional fields.
As always, you will need to pay for any accompanying persons at the time of registration.
Young BP Fellows (over 18): Given the limited spaces and extremely high interest in this event, Young BP Fellows will unfortunately not be able to register any accompanying persons. In households where there is more than one Young BP Fellow over 18, they will each receive their invitation directly.
Will there be a waiting list?
Yes. We will maintain a waiting list for primary household contacts who are unable to secure any places during registration, in case any become available later, including due to cancellations.
Our registration system will automatically direct the primary household contact to this option if there are no available places. The primary household contact will be able to add themselves and up to two accompanying persons to the waiting list.
The waiting list will only be accessible when your registration phase is open, according to the dates and times listed above. Following the close of your registration phase, the waiting list will also be closed.
Kindly understand, however, that we cannot increase the overall capacity of the event, and that joining the waiting list does not guarantee a place at a later date.
Young BP Fellows (over 18) who do not manage to secure a place on the Young BP Fellows Programme, should email [email protected] immediately to be added to a separate waiting list, in case of cancellations.
What options will I have when selecting programmes?
During this registration period, it will only be possible to register for the Full Event Programme or the Young BP Fellows Programme (for Young BP Fellows aged 18–35 at the time of the event), plus some additional programme activities, such as Pre-Event Tours.
Please read through the specific details in the Event Information Pack.
What is the Young BP Fellow Programme?
This is a special programme for up to 25 Young BP Fellows (aged 18 to 35 at the time of the event) to participate at a subsidised rate of 6,000 SEK.
Young BP Fellows joining this programme will take part in the main event activities, with some special additions, as outlined in the Event Information Pack.
The programme fee covers the activities in addition to shared accommodation from Thursday, 7 May, to Sunday, 10 May 2026, all meals from Thursday evening, 7 May, to Sunday breakfast, 10 May and local transport during the event.
Please note:
- Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when registration opens for the Young BP Fellows Programme.
- Every Young BP Fellow (aged 18–35 at the time of the event) will receive their own individual invitation email and registration link.
- Due to high interest, Young BP Fellows will not be able to register an accompanying person.
BP Fellows or Honours Programme Members aged 18–35 at the time of the event will have the option to either try for a place on the Full Event Programme, or for one of the 25 places available on the Young BP Fellows Programme, when registration goes live.
Young BP Fellows who successfully sign up for the 25 limited spaces on the Young BP Fellows Programme are expected to participate in every activity offered.
How does registration take place on the system?
The primary household contact will receive an event invitation with the official registration link via email one day before registration opens. This invitation containing the link must not be shared as it is personalised!
Once registration goes live at the schedule announced above, the primary household contact should:
- Click on the link to open the registration page in our Cvent Registration System.
- Start the registration process. Carefully enter your personal details and click on “Next” to advance.
- Your registration item (“Full Event Programme”) will already be selected. On this same page, you should confirm the activities you will attend. Some are automatically included in your registration. Please select your preferred tour option and any additional programme activities you would like to attend (e.g. Pre-Tours) then click on “Next”.
- You will see a summary of your registration. Please review this carefully. If you only wish to register yourself, then advance to payment. Or, if you wish to add an accompanying person, you should now do this from the bottom of this summary page, by clicking on “Add an accompanying person”. Please repeat the registration process, which has been significantly shortened for accompanying persons. If you wish to add a second accompanying person, do this once you reach the summary page again. Then advance to payment.
- Check the summary and totals, and pay by credit card. You will then receive a credit card confirmation via Stripe in addition to an email confirmation of your registration.
Important: you must be ready to pay your registration fee by credit card to complete your registration.
Young BP Fellows complete a similar process. There are no optional activities in the Young BP Fellows Programme; however, a Young BP Fellow (over 18) could choose to sign up for a Pre-Event Tour on 7 May (at an additional cost). Click on “Next” then review the registration summary and advance to payment.
BP Fellows under 35 will have the option to register for both the subsidised Young BP Fellows Programme (spaces allowing) or the Full Event Programme (full cost, also spaces allowing.) These persons will need to select their preferred programme option once they have completed their personal details.
Important: Email addresses in our registration system
Each participant must have their own unique email address. This is required to enable email notifications and later access to our Event App. It is not possible to register multiple people using the same email address!
What are the registration fees?
The registration fees are set in Swedish Kronor (SEK), as follows:
- Full Event Programme: 22,000 SEK
- Young BP Fellow Programme: 6,000 SEK
- Gala Dinner Only: 7,500 SEK
The fee is fixed and will not increase after a set period.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full Event Programme Cancellation:
If you cancel your participation up to and including 15 January 2026, we will refund your fees as long as we can allocate your place(s) to persons on the waiting list. If not, up until this date, we will refund 50% of the fees (full programme and any additional programme activities selected).
We will no longer provide a refund for cancellations on or after 16 January 2026.
Gala Dinner Only Cancellation:
If you cancel your participation up to and including 15 March 2026, we will refund your fees as long as we can allocate your place(s) to other persons. If not, up until this date, we will refund 50% of the fees (and any additional programme activities selected).
We will no longer provide a refund for cancellations on or after 16 March 2026.
Can I update my registration information later?
Registered participants will be able to modify personal information in the system via the "Modify my registration" link from the registration confirmation email, for example, emergency contact information, and fields that are not compulsory at the time of registration, such as departure/arrival times and where you’ll be staying in Stockholm.
Please note that there are several compulsory fields in the registration system that we will ask you to complete in the first phase of registration, which are necessary for our organisation.
Can I bring my child under 3 years old to the event?
Yes. We will make some basic arrangements to accommodate families with children under three, who are welcome to attend with their parents at no additional charge. Parents are responsible for supervising their young children throughout the event. If you plan to bring a very young child with you, please contact us via email as soon as you have secured your registration places for the adults. Children from four and over can attend with their parents as paying accompanying participants.
Where can I locate accommodation information?
We strongly advise you to secure your event accommodation as soon as possible once you have registered.
There are still some rooms available via the event hotels — see the links on our event page. You are also welcome to seek alternative options (hotels, guesthouses, etc.) in the vicinity of the Grand Hotel (our event hub, from where transportation will depart and return for those on the full programme) or the City Hall (Stockholms stadhus), our Gala Dinner venue.
Important: If you can't locate your registration email and link
As noted, we will send the registration emails out one day in advance to enable the primary household contact to check they have received this. If you don't believe you have received the email, please check your spam or junk email folder. If you still cannot locate the email, please don't hesitate to contact us.
