8th Honours Programme Field Trip.

We organise annual Field Trips for our Honours Programme Members to give you a unique opportunity to learn about, see and personally experience the impact of your support on Scouting in countries around the world and of the value Scouting adds to young people's lives and to society. Our Field Trips are specifically aimed at Honours Programme Members who wish to invest more in the development of Scouting around the world and/or specifically in the projects covered throughout the visit.
Honours Programme members will travel to Nairobi, Kenya, where they'll connect with local Scouts and colleagues at the WSB Africa Support Centre. Over three action-packed days, participants will:
- Explore Scouting initiatives in Nairobi and Kisumu, with a focus on the Ticket to Life programme income-generating projects that teach entrepreneurship and #skillsforlife.
- Engage in meaningful exchanges with Kenyan Scouts, learning about their challenges, successes, and the role of Scouting in their communities.
- Experience the legacy of Baden-Powell, including a special journey to Nyeri & Paxtu, his final resting place.
This immersive experience promises valuable insights, unforgettable memories, and a deeper understanding of the global impact of Scouting.
